Free entry for local people today to celebrate 70 years since the house opened to the public; bring a letter/bill showing a Cockermouth postcode to get in free. Talks on the history of the house, eat cake and drink Georgian punch. Have you got memories of the house? Come and sign up to participate in our oral history project.
